Today we were working in the garden and Corbin asked me if he could mow the lawn as he has never done it before. I held the wire and turned it, it is hard to turn, it's a flymo and doesn't have wheels. (and yes I realized afterwards that he really should have had some shoes on.)
He had a great time. He was pretending that the long bits of grass were trolls and he was destroying them. And of course there was the sense of satisfaction, after every row he would look and say: "Mom, look how much I have done already!"
He was so chuffed with himself.
