The coolest present I have ever been given!

I can't get over the fact that I have one of these!

My Cousin Jenny had my mom and I over for lunch when I was in England. I asked her if I could please see her robotic vacuum cleaner, because I couldn't believe that something like that actually existed. When we were finished watching it clean her kitchen floor, she said that if I wanted it I could have it. (They are moving and didn't want to take it with.)

I sprinkled some sugar on the floor so that you can watch it pick up dirt, it really works! My Roomba in my new best friend.

This morning before we went out I put it on in the lounge, and when we came back... My lounge was vacuumed. WONDERFUL

Thank you a thousand times Jenny. My life has been revolutionized.

Another hard day at the office

Two of my favorite people

I'd always hoped to have a son who played pro golf but ...

Sumo wrestling will have to do.

Corbin and his friend at the primary school summer fair

I love my children so much!

What wonderful people I am blessed to live with, teach and learn from.

Children make life interesting, challenging, rewarding, exciting, stressful, beautiful and worthwhile, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Prize day

The other day we went off to the primary school prize day.

Zeek was awarded the Athlete of the year trophy. (And for those of you who know me will be thinking that is especially cool, since that is the award I received in the last year of primary school too.) Well done Zeek!

Jessica did well too, she got: Woodwind cup, senior speech and drama and overall achievement for P7 girl. Well done Jess! (the picture is so small because I took it from facebook, it's the best I could do.)
I think they are both looking forward to leaving primary school, but they have had a good time.

For those who asked

Zeek got 6 stitches.
He was walking in the river when he slipped on a rock and fell face first onto it. He slid down the river a bit before getting a footing and standing up. That was when he realized that he was bleeding.

Today (three days after) he is experiencing some facial swelling. Healing is never fun.

The cut is healing well though, the stitches will come out on Friday.
