SNOW!!!!!

We weren't sure if the snow would reach the Island, but it did!  The kids had a snow day and there were also a couple of shops that didn't open too.  

These are my neighbour's stairs, mine are the same,

 Mini snowman, built with the help of the neighbour's kid,

 My boots have an apple on the sole, and I thought it looked quite cool in the snow!

Corbin began this snow man by rolling snow together in the car park next door, then Rachel joined in, then another neighbour's kid joined in too...

I love the snow here, it stays for a few days then it's gone, just enough to play with, but not enough to be a hinderance for any length of time.

Christmas morning...

Really early Christmas morning (to the annoyance of Cheryn and Zeek) we were woken up by two very excited kiddies!  We went downstairs to eat breakfast and open presents.  

 Cheryn not quite ready to participate yet...

 

We had a lovely morning, the kids then went off to Pete's for lunch.  So a very belated Merry Christmas to all! :)
