We drove down to the forest park on Monday and set up camp. The kids had a great time, they spent the majority of the time away in the forest with friends or swimming at the river (I hardly ever saw Cheryn).
On Tuesday afternoon we discovered that our tent was leaking, so we went home. But I drove down on Wednesday and Thursday to enjoy the days there, I am so glad we did.
The slip 'n slide was a definite winner. On Wednesday they spent about 2 hours sliding, but on Thursday they spent about 4 hours. What soapy, muddy, dirty, glorious FUN.
