Did you also think your parents were stupid when you were a kid?

Last night's conversation:

Mom: "*Leslie did you brush your teeth?"

*Leslie: "A little bit."

Mom: "Well a little bit is not enough, please go and do a proper job."

*Leslie gets out of bed and starts to head for the bathroom, and then...

Mom: "Just let me smell your breath." (because if it doesn't have a hint of mintyness then I know there has not even been a little bit of brushing)

*Leslie: "No, I started brushing my teeth, but I didn't use any toothpaste."

YEAH RIGHT, LIKE I WAS BORN YESTERDAY!
