The Proud Day When You Overtake Your Mom

In the last two weeks we have become aware that Zeek has finally overtaken me in height!  He was so proud, and he keeps coming and standing next to me with his head held high :)

I am 5'7" tall, and he is now taller than me at the tender age of 14, so I think he is going to be getting a lot taller within the next few years.

I love my boy!

Dr. Who Corbin Monster

Corbin walks into my room and says:  "Mom, do you think I could be on Dr. Who as a monster?"  My back was turned, so when I turned round this is what I saw!

I think he could be a monster alright!

New Family Home Evening Game

We recently played this game at our friend's house and decided to play it with the Missionaries tonight.  We had a great time and loads of laughs.

You will need at least four people, but give it a go and see what music you can make...

Carisbrooke Castle with Dad and Mom Bowen

We went along to the Castle today with Peter and Jenny (Dad and Mom, Granny and Grandpa).  It was another gorgeous day, the sun shining and the air warm (but not in the shade so much).  I took loads of pictures but I'm only uploading some of them!

Sunday Picnic

Because today was General Conference we had the late morning and afternoon free, so I decided to take the kids on a picnic by the Medina River.  It was gorgeous weather, even although it was slightly cool.  While Zeek was at the Priesthood session I made sandwiches and cut up fruit and vegetables, it was a lovely lunch.

I'm glad we did this, and will be doing it again soon.  I love Spring and the warmer weather!
