Because both of these missionaries are American, I decided to let them taste the South African 'sweet' Koeksisters. And instead of just making them for them, I thought it might be fun for them to make the koeksisters themselves. They had fun, and they loved them!

Healthy School Lunch
If you do not choose to take the time to be healthy, you will be forced to take the time to be sick.

First Sail of the Year
Pete braved the cold and went for his first sail the other day. I braved the cold to come and watch him and take a few photos. He was ultimately more brave (or stupid) than me though, because he was the one getting wet!
Actually the clothing is fit for purpose and so he wasn't cold at all, he just had a lovely time in his boat on the waves in the sunshine.
Bring on the warmer weather, when I will be happy to join him, it does look so lovely.
Tulips from Amsterdam
Well I don't actually know if they do come from Amsterdam, but they are beautiful and I love to see them in my room.
New Beginnings Evening
My two beautiful girls, Rachel was so excited to have this evening, and Cheryn was so good at welcoming her sister into the Young Woman's program. Rachel only goes up in July, but this evening was still for her.
Cheryn found another baby!
Me (obviously) and Helen Grant the Stake YW Pres, with Stella Parkman, the old YW pres.Jenny Russell, the young women's president, with Graham Ford, a councillor on the Bishopric.
Roxanne; Strike a Pose!
60's housewives here we come!
NINJA (the game not the dishwasher)
I saw a game on someone else's blog (American) and asked the missionaries if they knew what it was. They both replied immediately; Yeah, that's ninja! They showed us how to play and we now play it quite often. It's great fun.
