Happy Birthday Corbin

9 Years Old!!!
Look at the concentration as he lights the candles.

Chocolate brownies, with chocolate pieces. Why no cake you may ask... Because I am still flopping every one I make GGGRRRRR. Can't seem to get it right!
The water guns from the Baxters, we got him a metal detector, it's what he asked for.

My new dress

I have not worn a dress for many years, when I saw this one in the shop I fell in love with it, I love the material and the colours. I also bought matching shoes, this is not something I normally do, it was fun shopping for them. Angela came with me and Samuel was very patient :)

Cheryn borrowed this dress from Angela, she looked so lovely in it. She also borrowed my shoes, it's so weird to think that she fits into my shoes!

Here is Zeek wearing the tie that Elder Farnsworth gave to him, and I noticed that after Church when he was getting changed, it went neatly back into the box it came in.

The best dad in the whole world!

This is the present the kids gave to Pete on Father's day.

And yes, I know Pete is not dead, but it is one of his favourite songs, he wants it played at his funeral.

The model train at the model village

A BIG THANK YOU TO GREAT GRANNY VI!!!

Granny Vi wanted to give all of her great grandchildren in the UK a present. So she kindly sent them some money for an activity. After some discussion we decided to take the kids to the Model Village in Godshill. The kids had a great time.

Here are all of the great grand children at the entrance to the model village. Can you see the snake on Pete's hat? That is a toy snake that Corbin bought with his money. Thank you Granny!
All the adults who went into the village with the kids.
All the great grandchildren in the model village.
A jurassic bird, doesn't that look so real. Actually that pigeon is normal sized.
If you look very carefully in this picture you will see that I am standing by a model of a church and on the hill in the background is the actual church.
Cheryn's favourite house.
Vincent's favourite house.
Rachel's favourite house, and in her hands is a water-filled balloon that she bought with her money, thank you Granny Vi.
Phillipa's favourite house, and in her hands is a set of binoculars that she bought with her money, thank you Granny Vi.
Zeek's favourite house.
Roxanne's favourite house.
Corbin's favourite house, and he also bought a set of binoculars, thank you Granny Vi.
The kids exploring the village.
This is half of the model village.
And this is the other half.
My favourite house.
More exploring.
This is the toy Zeek bought with some of his money, he spent hours with it and is still playing with it. Thank you Granny Vi.
Vincent enjoying the sun.
I liked this scene, Roxanne and Vincent have been to that actual beach.

Roxanne, Cheryn and Samuel in front of a model Church, they all had hymns playing inside of them.
We heard a lot of, "AAAAAAWWWWW Cute" They loved all of the little people and attention to detail on the houses, even the moss on the roofs.
Another house that Phillipa liked.
After the Model Village we took the kids to Mc Donalds and they all bought something with their money. So granny, they all got an outing, toy and lunch, and they still have some left over! Cheryn bought a new hand bag with some of her money. It was certainly a treat for all of them.

Our First Ever Coach Temple Trip

Our Ward organized a trip to the London Temple. We have never gone on a coach trip with a ward before, we were all very excited. The Stake Primary had arranged a temple activity day so that is why Rachel and Corbin came too. They were both so excited because although they have been to the temple in Johannesburg, they don't remember it.

Cheryn and Zeek got to do some baptisms and I spent half the time in the temple and half the time out in the gardens with Rachel and Corbin. I am so glad that we went, it was a lovely experience.

She fell asleep with her fingers in her mouth, I thought it was so funny, and when she woke up she had bite marks on two of them! Must have been dreaming about eating something.

They both loved this statue of the Saviour. The first thing they did when they saw it was go up and hug Him.

We will definitely do it again next time.

We love this Swing

The other night for Family Home Evening we went to the beach and talked about all the beautiful creations around us. Then we had ice-creams and played at the park. This swing is so much fun, I had the kids push me on it and I love the feeling.
